Tuesday, April 26, Peel Regional Police Officers responded with eight separate cases of collisions involving vehicles and pedestrians at locations beginning on the QEW near Hurontario Street up until Burnhamthorpe Road just before 12:15 p.m., according to police reports released this afternoon by their media team captain Christian Mehrholzer.
Fortunately, only one person was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The suspect arrested is a male driver that is now facing charges for reckless driving.
